We offer detail engineering services for all complex flow conditions, which require three-dimensional analysis using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics).
Typical applications for the wind energy industry are e.g. the assessment of wind conditions in strongly complex terrain (flow inclination, wind shear, turbulence) or the analysis of the flow around large structures (buildings, industrial facilities, escarpments etc.) and their impact on nearby wind turbines.
Furthermore we have special experience in the simulation of valves to obtain forces, moments and hydraulic resistances during transient operation conditions and in modelling the three-dimensional two-phase-flow of hydro power plants.
